If your child is a car rider, they are to be dropped off at the car rider gate located beside the school auditorium.

Please use the visitor parking lot to the right of the bus loop ONLY for appointments or to walk your pre-k child to their classroom in the morning. Thank you for your cooperation.

SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT / PARENT INVOLVEMENT

The School Improvement and Parent Involvement Plans for Fort White Elementary are complete and ready for your review! These reports can be viewed in the front office of Fort White Elementary School. To have a copy sent home with your child, please contact: Carol Barnett at 497-5934 or by making the request in writing to your child’s teacher.


PARENTS RIGHT TO KNOW
The No Child Left Behind Act states that parents have the right to request information on the professional and paraprofessionals at our school. To request information, contact the school administration office at 386-497-2301. Upon the request, you will receive a detailed explanation of the certification, education and experience of each of the teachers who work with your child. You will also receive information regarding the names and qualifications of the paraprofessionals at our school who work with your child.

We can help!Title I maintains a parent resource room with printed materials, books, games, and activities that you can check out to use at home. TITLE I NOTEBOOK

The Title I Notebook is available in the front office for your review. The Title I Notebook contains information about Fort White Elementary Title I School-wide Plan, School Report Card and Grade Reports, Highly Qualified Teachers and the NCLB Complaint Process.

Name of School: Fort White Elementary As required by P.L. 114-95 of the Every Student Succeeds Act, I the undersigned campus principal attest to the following for school year 2019-2020.

Requirements Outlined in Statute All teachers meet state certification/licensure requirements and subject matter competency under ESSA Section 112(e) and Florida Statute 1012.42.
If "no", how many teachers were hired that do not meet state certification/licensure requirements? 2 Medroum and Peach All instructional paraprofessionals, (except for translation and parental involvement activities) paid with Title I funds meet the requirements to be considered highly qualified.
If "no", how many paraprofessionals were hired that do not meet the Title I, Part A qualification? All instructional paraprofessionals paid with Title I funds are assigned appropriate duties consistent with paraprofessional responsibilities and limitation under ESSA Section 111(9)(2)(J) of the Every Student Succeeds Act.
4. All instructional paraprofessionals paid with Title I funds are working under the
direct supervision of a teacher consistent with ESSA Section 111(g)(2)(J) of the Every Student Succeeds Act.
5. Paraprofessionals who assume limited duties beyond classroom instruction or
duties that do not benefit participating children are the same type of duties as assigned to other paraprofessionals who are not working in a program supported with Title I, Part A funds, and the amount of time spent on such duties is the same proportion of the total work time as prevails with respect to similar personnel at the same school.
Copies of this attestation are available at the school and LEA office and will be made available to the general public upon request.
